Current Weet-Bix world record holder has a message for his challenger

The current Weet-Bix eating record holder isn’t giving up his bragging rights without a fight and has some words of advice for his challenger.

Macquarie Radio’s resident vet Doctor Rob Zammit will attempt to steal the title of most Weet-Bix eaten in 40 minutes tomorrow, to raise money for endometriosis.

Jeremy Butler from South Australia holds the current title, downing 40 back in 1999.

He phoned the open line telling Ray Hadley his secret to success.

“The secret is not too much milk… I reckon I had nearly three litres of milk when I had my 40 Weetbix.”

Dr Zammit thinks he’s going to break Jeremy’s record in about 32 minutes.

If his record is beaten, Jeremy tells Ray he’ll come out of retirement to defend his title.

“I reckon I could do more than 40 if I needed to.”
